Six educators from Avenue Scholars toured the Omaha North Plant operations on Thursday. Avenue Scholars works with high school students who are not college bound, sharing, preparing and exposing students to career options in areas like health care, information technology, trades and manufacturing, and more. 

Thursday’s visit focused around careers in Precision Machining and Electrical Mechanical – Maintenance. Community Engagement and Outreach Manager Ralph Kleinsmith led the tour of the North Plant which included a stop in the Main Office showroom along with time to discuss how Lozier and Avenue Scholars can support the high school students it serves in the Omaha metro area.
