Donation to Habitat for Humanity ReStore benefits affordable homeownership

Friday, North Plant Shipper-Receiver Josh Crowley loaded up another Habitat for humanity Restore truck in Omaha.

Instead of filling up a landfill, obsoleted product from the woodshop was donated to Habitat for Humanity to help sustain the nonprofit. Through the ReStore program, materials are sold to the community at a reduced cost and keeps products in good condition, but no longer needed, from the landfill.

Sales from ReStore directly benefit Habitat for Humanity’s Affordable Homeownership Program, working in neighborhoods Along with a series of material donations in Omaha, Lozier has been involved with Habitat for Humanity in other locations near its plants.

Last year, Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County received a Lozier Community Grant that assisted in building seven homes near Goshen, Indiana.
