Advance Displays, a Lozier Certified Partner (LCP), has announced plans to open a new 303,000-square-foot distribution center near Lozier’s existing operations in Scottsboro, AL this summer. Advance Displays CEO Rick Lucking says Scottsboro’s proximity to Mobile, Alabama’s shipping lanes as well as Lozier’s manufacturing facility were driving factors in its Southeastern US expansion.
“Our company has been looking to expand in the Southeast for some time,” Lucking said. “As we began negotiations on warehouse facilities, Scottsboro officials won the day with their overwhelming support. The resulting freight savings will bring a significant pricing advantage to the Lozier line of products in a competitive gondola market.”
Lozier’s LCP Program Manager Ryan Kane says the new facility represents a major step forward for Lozier and the Lozier Certified Provider (LCP) program.
“This facility will significantly enhance Lozier’s ability to move product quickly and efficiently throughout the United States,” Kane said. “For the LCP program, it adds a strategically positioned location to the network.”
Advance Displays isn’t the only LCP with a facility or Distribution Center near Lozier. Kane says the growing trend strengthens the entire distribution system and LCP program, allowing for quicker fulfillment, reducing transportation costs and providing built-in redundancy to handle volume surges or disruptions.
“For over 30 years Advance Displays has invested in the Lozier brand, offering industry-specific services to become the largest Lozier Distributor and a trusted partner,” Lucking said of the Lozier partnership and drive to opening a location near one of the company’s facilities. ” This expansion magnifies our capacity to service existing customers, adds value to the LCP program and will increase Lozier’s market share.”
With several distribution hubs across the country, Kane says Lozier is better equipped to serve local markets and national accounts reliably and efficiently, while maintaining the high standards customers expect. Advance Displays plans to begin shipping products from its new Scottsboro facility in July 2025.
