In its third year, the employee-led Lozier Community Grant program supported 57 nonprofit organizations across the country in 2024. Recipients were selected by employee committees in all five Lozier locations. These are the 2024 recipient organizations’ stories of impact.
Serving the uninsured in the community, the Center for Healing and Hope is a beacon for compassionate care. The operation supports seeking primary and preventative care, cancer screenings, small procedures and more. With immaculate clinic rooms, low-cost treatment and trained advocates, Indiana’s Center for Healing and Hope has made a mission of supporting the region’s immigrant neighbors and those seeking assistance during difficult financial times.
Executive Director Missy Schrock said Lozier’s partnership through the Lozier Community Grants program over the last three years has been incredible. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the operation continues its mission to provide affordable healthcare and immigrant resources for the uninsured in Elkhart County.
“It’s especially exciting to receive a Lozier Community Grant this year because this is our 25th anniversary and we’re really, really grateful to have local business partnering with us,” Schrock said. “Lozier has been part of helping us be able to expand the number of people that we see every year and help more people take care of themselves and their families and have an overall sense of well-being.”
