Nebraska JAG students use Lozier visit to help determine a career pathway

The Nebraska JAG program made a visit visit to Lozier this week with 18 students from Bryan High School. . Jobs for American Graduates (JAG) Nebraska is part of the United Way of the Midlands and works with students to overcome challenges and build a path toward personal and career success after high school.

Touring Lozier’s Main Office and North Plant, the Omaha Public School students had changes to talk to Lozier employees about what they do and how they work. Each of the students in the program were high school juniors and seniors looking to decide on a career to pursue. A few of the student visitors are part of Bryan High School’s Transportation, Distribution & Logistics (TDL) course, a program Lozier has supported for several years.

In 2023, the Lozier Foundation established a scholarship fund for the academy’s students to be used over the next three years. The scholarship is presented to Bryan High School students to be used toward a post-high school trade school, certificate or college enrollment.
