Companywide OneOmaha Celebrations Mark Successful Completion of the Multi-Year Project

Celebrations at every facility this week marked the completion of the multi-year OneOmaha project. Teams celebrated with catered lunches across all shifts and departments.

In alignment with Lozier’s 3 -5 year goals and focus on core product, ownership announced the OneOmaha project in May 2023 and was successfully completed in October 2024. The project was an effort collaborated on by teams in all Lozier facilities, exemplifying the Core Value of Work as a Team. Director of Manufacturing Engineering Kent Carmichael, the project lead for the OneOmaha Initiative, called the collaboration one of the company’s largest accomplishments in terms of coordination and cooperation.

The project introduced several notable upgrades at Lozier’s Omaha location, including a new assembly area in the Distribution Center, a new paintline with innovations to hang and take off Uprites and an expanded coil bay to allow existing operations in the North Plant while absorbing Uprites.

The impact of OneOmaha was different for every area of the company but each employee contributed to the project in some way.

Joplin kicked off celebrations with Chick-Fil-A boxed lunches. McClure celebrated with Kickin Kater including Brisket, Pulled Pork, Mac n cheese, Potato Salad, Cole slaw, and whoopie pies. Middlebury had Nelson’s chicken, pulled pork, baked beans along with pit potatoes. Omaha celebrated with tacos, chips and queso while Scottsboro offered a hot dog bar.
